Founder of 1% Performance
Jalen Ramsey founded 1% Performance in 2019 with a clear mission: to help athletes unlock their full potential by getting 1% better every day. A former two-sport athlete at Shippensburg University in football and track & field, Jalen understands firsthand what it takes to compete at a high level—mentally and physically.
As a two-time NCAA All-American in the high jump, Jalen combines elite athletic experience with a science-based training approach that delivers proven results. His methods focus on improving speed, strength, explosiveness, mobility, and recovery, using tools like GPS tracking, velocity-based training, and personalized programming to guarantee progress.
Since launching 1% Performance, Jalen has helped hundreds of athletes—from youth to professional levels—build the foundation they need to dominate in their sport. Whether preparing for a combine, chasing a scholarship, or looking to stay healthy and strong in-season, every athlete in the program receives individualized coaching tailored to their goals and schedule.
